I'm Jessica Koster Baff, an ASHA-certified, Pennsylvania licensed speech and language pathologist. I have a BA in Journalism and an MA in Speech, Language and Hearing from Temple University and over 15 years of clinical experience, the majority spent serving children and their families in the Philadelphia area.

After receiving my Certificate of Clinical Competence in 1998, I spent five years providing early intervention services to children in their homes, day care centers, and schools, and four additional years working in pre-schools as a speech and language pathologist. Following this, I served early school-aged children through private practice and contract work. More recently, I have been working with (and writing about) my own child, who has excelled in his private school with learning modifications that I helped implement and that were based on my years of research and experience. In addition, I have been helping families of children with a variety of learning and behavioral needs, using a holistic approach that emphasizes both a child's strengths and classroom accommodations.
